Lockheed Martin at Aero India 2009 February 11-15, 2009

Aero India 2009 is Asia's premier air show and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is very excited to have a large presence at the show this year. In addition to our overall corporate presence at the show Aeronautics will showcase the F-16IN Super Viper and the C-130J Super Hercules.

If,these are the words of CII that is not too much.With a motive to impress the

Journalists,the Company arranged for two demonstration flights of,the above steel bird,on 13th and 14th.

This writer,(blogger) was included in the flight on 13th with other 4o+journalists and TV crews,mainly from Swarna,NDTV.TV9.

The journalists too were ,no doubt excited,to know that they were flown "To

South east of Bangalore,700KMs away keeping them in the flight for about 45 minutes.

On landing the Pilot and other senior crew from U.S.Air Force patiently answered all the queries from the Media barons.

ChannelsTV crew had a good time to shoot nature at the height of 15000/feet

and on Landing, other IAF aircraft too Landing within few seconds following the Hercules.

Lockheed Martin will showcase the C-130J at the air show. India purchased six C-130Js in early 2008. Deliveries to India will begin in 2011. The Indian Air Force's new Super Hercules will be the longer fuselage or "stretched" variant of the C-130J, similar to those being delivered to the U.S. Air Force.

On 14th the Company invited many journalists and channels for "WALK AROUND
WITH PILOTS." who presented the features of F16in super viper and other models.
To a question parred to the Senior VP of the company,LHM,the VP has answered this blogger that delivery to IAF will not be postponed even if futher
modification is proposed at any stage.
