Bangalore, July 17(Karnataka Information): The Department of Agricultural Marketing and the Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Board have recently started a Toll Free telephone No. 1800-425-1552 In order to provide information on current prices of agricultural commodities and other information like activities and schemes, minimum support price, FAZ qualities etc., Facilities provided in the markets, prices of commodities in the national markets etc., are also provided through this facility. The farmers and others interested can make a call at free of cost to this number during working days from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm and obtain the information.

Further a website namely http://krishimaratavahini.kar.nic.in has also been developed and the interested persons can get all information on various subjects relating to agricultural marketing through this website.
