U.A.E. Participates in Global Investor Meet
Minister for Large and Medium Industries Shri Murugesh R. Nirani met His Excellency Mohamed Sultan Abedalla-al-Owasis, the Ambassador of UAE to India today. Minister informed that India is not significantly affected by global recession and now it is showing sings of recovery in all sectors. The Ambassador informed ‘India is in 3rd position in terms of foreign investment in UAE and the delegation of UAE is visiting Karnataka on November 10, 2009 to explore investment opportunity in Karnataka’.
It was discussed to promote sectors like medical tourism in Karnataka. Minister also invited the Ambassador to participate in global investor meet Principal Secretary Commerce and Industries Shri V.P. Baligar Commercial for Industrial Development Dr. Rajkumar Khatri, and Managing Director Karnataka Udyog Mitra Shri K.S. Shivaswamy were also present in the meeting.
